Since May 2017 I am Regional Communications Manager for UK Visas and Immigration, working out of New Delhi on strategic communications across the south and south east Asia region.
Between November 2016 and March 2017 I was a Communications Contractor for the General Dental Council, providing a full range of communications support via stakeholder engagement, digital and social media, press management, website management and other tasks.
Between June 2015 and October 2016 I held a position as PR Officer with the National Housing Federation, working to represent England's Housing Associations and publicise the work that the NHF does to help end the housing crisis.
Prior to starting this role I undertook a 6-week secondment at Downing Street in the Prime Minister's Press Office, supporting and working with the permanent Press Officers to ensure the Prime Minister was represented in the media and government communications were efficiently coordinated.
Between December 2014 and May 2015 I worked as a News and Campaigns Officer within the Press Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. This was a specialist communications role that involved supporting the DPM, his Official Spokesman and the rest of the Press team to conceive, design, implement and evaluate the full range of the DPM's priorities in government, such as mental health, balancing the budget, free school meals and the pupil premium.
Before this role I undertook paid and voluntary work at the Department of Health, the University of London, the Frontline Club and the British Humanist Association.

Ambassador Milan Hovorka was born in 1961. In 1984, after graduating at the University of Economics in Prague he worked at the Federal Ministry of Foreign Trade of Czechoslovakia. After the fall of communism in Czechoslovakia in 1989 he was sent to Geneva where he worked as a representative at the Permanent Mission of the Czech Republic to the UN and other international organisations.
In 1996 he was appointed the chief director of the Section for bilateral trade policy and for relations with the EU and EFTA at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. Between 1998 and 2004 he became the permanent representative of the Czech Republic to the World Trade Organisation in the rank of Ambassador. While being there, he was a permanent representative and afterwards the director of the Mission and a member of various elected WTO bodies, including chair of the Council for Trade in Goods.
In 2004, he was appointed the director of the Section of European countries and CIC countries at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. Since 1 September 2007, Milan Hovorka has been Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade. In summer 2015 he has been appointed the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and Maldives. From 1st September 2016 he is in charge of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi. He is Ambassador of the Czech Republic for 6 countries, namely India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka with residence in New Delhi.
Mr Chang Chee Pey assumed the position of Assistant Chief Executive for the International Group in September 2016. In his current role, he oversees an integrated network of 20 Regional Offices located around the world. Together, they actively promote Singapore as a compelling leisure and business events destination.
Chee Pey has held a number of senior appointments in the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) since 2004, spanning marketing and tourism product development. He was previously based in Mumbai, Kuala Lumpur and London, handling STB's international marketing and business development efforts in the key markets of India, Southeast Asia and Europe. Chee Pey was also the Executive Director of Brand Management and Destination Marketing from 2010 to 2012. In these positions, Chee Pey was responsible for STB's global brand and marketing campaigns, and developing a strong and positive brand perception of Singapore as a travel and business event destination.
Before his marketing stint, Chee Pey served as Director of Sightseeing & Cruise. He was involved in key developmental projects such as the Singapore Flyer, the Orchard Road Mall Enhancement project and the S$10 million Singapore Fly-Cruise Development Fund. He also headed the STB Integrated Resorts Working Team and managed the Request for Concept (RFC) process for the Integrated Resorts project until the formation of the Integrated Resorts Division in STB in August 2005.
